About Me
My programming journey
My story
From a young age, I was drawn to exact sciences like math, physics, and chemistry. At the same time, I developed a strong competitive spirit through sports—especially handball, but also football and table tennis. This balance of mental and physical discipline has defined my approach to learning.
Coming from a small town with limited resources, I discovered programming on my own. When the pandemic hit during my 9th-grade year, I used the time at home to teach myself C++ and dive into algorithmic problems. What started as a way to pass the time quickly became a genuine passion.
By 10th grade, I had mastered the school curriculum and sought greater challenges at the Center for Performance in Informatics, focusing on advanced data structures. This journey came full circle in my final year of high school when I began mentoring younger students—a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge that stays with me today.
To broaden my technical horizons, I completed Harvard's CS50 course. It introduced me to new technologies and gave me the confidence to transition from solving isolated problems to building complex projects.
Currently, I am a third-year student at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. My focus has expanded to understanding low-level computing concepts and developing collaborative software. I am constantly gaining practical experience through internships and personal projects, working alongside colleagues to build impactful solutions.
